Recently I found myself surrounded by a vivacious panel of hotties for God TV’s Let’s Get Real Show. No question was off limits as we discussed my book Sacred Sexuality. Roars of slightly cringe laughter erupted when one of them asked me if sex toys were allowed. Lol. Errrr okay then. I had no problem answering their question although they were quite giggly asking them. Smiles. Given that I’m a trained secondary school teacher, there were definitely times that I wanted this mature but super fun bunch of babes to take the topic more seriously and ‘remain on task’ ha, yet our conversational dynamics, the individual reactions and the slight awkwardness, no doubt was indicative of the general reaction of a TV viewing audience right?

And just as the panel got into a flow after a while and there was more freedom and healthy understanding of Sexuality as the conversation continued, so too I believe a generational freedom regarding sexuality and a healthy, biblical understanding of Sexuality will also begin to be established amongst our world, the more we talk about sexuality with holy liberty.

And though I could tell it was certainly awkward for some and totally cool for others, I was super grateful for the exposure and I totally appreciated the opportunity to talk about the subject to a wider audience. I love that God TV are wanting to tackle issues such as sexuality and I rate their willingness to get a dialogue going!
