With a comedic voice heavily influenced by the likes of Bill Cosby & Jerry Seinfeld, and a comedy style described by the press as "clean, classy and clever", meet Cape Town Comedian, Mark Palmer.

Mark brings CLEAN and CLEVER comedy to the table...

Mark has been performing and honing his skills for over 11 years and he is currently one of today's most sought after comedians. Great comedy with no harmful side-effects. What? No Vulgarity, No Cringing, No Embarrassing ...Situations? Oh yes ... once you see Mark live you will never forget him!

Mark was born in Cape Town in 1974. At 10 years old Mark moved with his family overseas for several years, then returned to South Africa to complete his schooling and tertiary education. He settled down in Cape Town with his wife, before relocationg to the UK, where they currently live. Mark consistently customizes his comedy to a variety of corporate and show audiences, events ranging from 60 to 4000 people. Mark has done them all. He has worked with such notable companies as the Protea Hotel Group, Ford, iTouchSA and many more. Mark's ability to blend a theme or topic with one of today's funniest comedy routines is unparalleled. His smart, sometimes loud and often opinionated brand of comedy has made him an audience favourite wherever he performs.

As Jerry Seinfeld said, "Funny is funny. Clean humour, if it's good, works anywhere."

Mark combines clean, hilarious humour with inspiration like no other comedian working today. He is grateful to everyone who supports comedy that doesn't make you feel like you stepped in something. With a legal qualification and many years working in the legal and finance world, Mark traded the business world stage for the comedy stage and never looked back.

Mark gets material daily from the perils being newly married, babysitting other people's kids, airport madness, the advances of technology and general social commentary of current headlines. But you are thinking it must be difficult to work clean all the time, right? "Clean comedy is easy. Funny comedy is hard." Mark is both.
