As holy priests set apart for the Lord, we’re called to lay down our lives as living sacrifices every single day. As His dwelling place, we must keep our altars—our hearts—burning with love and devotion as a lifestyle.

We must service our altars daily, mindful not to neglect or desecrate them. Intentionally creating a holy dwelling place that the Lord loves to dwell in.

Here are some simple ways to tend the fire of your personal altar:
~ Magnify Jesus with adoration throughout your day
~ Stay thankful & build a memorial of gratitude
~ Remember all the ways the Lord spoke, moved, and revealed His love
~ Offer yourself daily as a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1)
~ Reject the idols that try to take God’s place (Romans 12:2)
~ Listen to worship & engage in personal worship
~ Sing your own songs to the Lord
~ Stay prayerful through the day
~ Read, meditate on, & pray Scripture
~ Take communion
~ Journal with the Holy Spirit
~ Protect the purity of your altar by bringing every thought & intention to the Lord, realigning quickly with His truth and love

Jesus is delighted as we pour out our love to Him in our own unique way.
