The Passion Of Jesus In Trafalgar Square

  • Trafalgar Square London WC2N 5DN United Kingdom

The huge Wintershall cast and animals come to the heart of London to re-enact their annual, moving Passion and resurrection play of Jesus’ last days.

'The Passion of Jesus offers an opportunity for Londoners to see the events of Good Friday re-enacted in one of our city’s most iconic locations. Attracting an audience of thousands, of all faiths and no organised faith, the Passion of Jesus provides a unique insight into Holy Week and demonstrates that London is open to people of all religions and backgrounds.'
The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan

Wintershall will perform the Passion of Jesus in Trafalgar Square on Good Friday 14 April 2017 commemorating the day Jesus is believed to have been arrested, tried and crucified by the Romans, two days before miraculously rising from the dead on Easter Sunday.

The Passion is brought to life by a cast of over a hundred, all in resplendent costumes, along with horses, doves and donkeys. This is a free performance.

Featuring realistic scenes and a heart moving crucifixion and resurrection, The Passion of Jesus is an unforgettable Easter experience.

As well as being historical, the story is educational and is as relevant today as it was 2,000 years ago, tackling issues of unity, forgiveness, acceptance and relationships with others.

The Passion of Jesus will be performed
On Friday 14th April: at Trafalgar Square at 12pm and 3.15pm
Saturday 15th April: Guildford High Street at 12pm and 2.30pm

The Passion of Jesus will also be performed at Spring Harvest, Minehead in the Skyline Arena on 9th of April 2017 at 2:45 pm.
